Tonight Marc Laimon promoted Chris Holdsworth to black belt, Mark Bieri to brown belt, and T.J. Gil to purple belt. Chris has been on a tear lately, which includes triangling Rodrigo Ranieri at the UFC Expo in July and winning by armbar in both of his amateur Tuff-N-Uff MMA fights. Mark is the younger brother of Scott (Cobra Kai black belt) and is one of the funniest guys I know. T.J. has also been doing really well lately, as he won all of his matches in the middleweight division at the UFC Expo. Congrats to all three on their well-earned promotions!
