First I want to give a big congrats to Gracie Barra fighter Renato "Babalu" Sobral for choking out Mike Van Arsdale, at UFC 57, with a rear-naked choke at 2:21 of Round 1.
In my opinion, the next obvious fight for Babalu should be a rematch against Chuck "Iceman" Liddell for the Light-Heavyweight UFC Championship. Both of these guys have been on a tear and have posted very impressive winning streaks, since the last time they fought. Babalu has also made tremendous strides since joining the Gracie Barra Combat Team and is a completely different fighter than the one Chuck caught with a head-kick in their first meeting.
At UFC 57, Chuck retained his UFC Light-Heavyweight title by TKO'ing Randy Couture and Babalu increased his winning streak to 10-0 which includes wins over Trevor Prangley, Shogun Rua, and Jeremy Horn all in one night in the Mile High City, as well as five consecutive submission victories with three taking place inside the UFC octagon. I think a rematch between Babalu and Iceman is the next obvious step Dana White needs to take in the Light-Heavyweight division!
