At the NW Jiu Jitsu Academy nwjja.com [2] on 9/9/08 we had a big promotion ceremony. Brian had not promoted anyone in a bit of time, so we had over 5 new blue belts (yours truly finally made it:D), three new purple, and Brian promoted his first brown belt, John Mc Farland! John is an amazing BJJ player, and his dedication has shown through! He has been way overdue for this promotion!
