I am taking a master's course in relationship management and the class participated in an exercise at the end of class that I thought was quite interesting. The idea is to get a first impression of a stranger, whether it is what you said, your body language, your tone of voice, etc. You introduce yourself and answer a question from a list then collect the the one word impression written by your peers on a post-it. When it was my turn, I got up to the front of the class..."Hi my name is Debbie, and one of my favorite hobbies is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu."
