I’m here wrapping up my second day of intensive training here at the GFTEAM training camp and so far its been the best preparation I've ever had for a tournament.
Today we started at six in the morning with physical training at Just Results Fitness (see photo) and Trainer Joe’s workout combined with the altitude here in Boulder, Colorado was lethal. Afterwards we went back to the house and ate lunch which for me consisted of salad, a little bit of grilled chicken, and a protein shake with fruit.
Next up at three o’clock was positional training where I paired up with Jake Mackenzie and worked on a bunch of killer positions from the guard. I wrapped up the afternoon session with a fifteen minute marathon roll with Rodolfo Vieira at the end of which he gave me a ton of good tips on the smash pass I’ve currently been making my project to work on.
Lastly, we closed out the day with another hard training session at 8 o’clock where I got beat up by Rodolfo and Jake Mackenzie, and also had a bunch of other tough matches that left me ready to go rest and recuperate.
Now I’m here at the house messing around with the crew (see video) and eating a light dinner, getting ready to go to bed and rest up for weight lifting in the morning!!
