Just a quick note of condolences for the Alliance Team in Atlanta for the loss of Jim McPherson, passed away just shy of his 62 birthday after a yearlong battle with colon cancer, surrounded and comforted by loved ones.
It's always been a pleasure in my travels to encounter the McPhersons and the were the epitomes of class acts, greatsportmen and ambassadors for our art of Jiu Jitsu. Always a handshake, a how are you doing and and a great conversation on Jiu Jitsu and his son Ian, who you could tell he was immensely proud of. Rest in Peace Mr. Jim, you will be missed.

Dear friends I am very sad to inform that Mr Jim McPherson [2] just passed away this afternoon in Atlanta Ga he was one of my best friends and more than that he was my brother, I know we all have to go one day but he was a special person we met about 12 years ago and have been together on the mats and outside the mats ever since, just want to say It was a privilege to have met you and have you representing my team Alliance with honor and pride all these years as for his beloved son Ian McPherson [3] I just want to say that we will always be there for you there is nothing else I can say at this moment except that you will be solely missed rest in piece Jim I love you, God Bye old friend.
