Recently, Brian Riggsbee, a San Francisco native, did a survey of nearly 700 people about the sport of BJJ. These were people of all shapes, sizes, ages, belt levels, and nearly all of them are actively training. He asked them questions about what inspired them to join the sport, about the injuries they have faced, how much pain they have, what supplemental training they do, and among other things if they had ever been choked unconscious. As weird as it sounds even 29% percent admitted to it, but it makes you wonder how many didn't cop to it. There is also interesting facts in that the brown belts seems to have been choked unconscious the most out of any other belt. This is an interesting survey and article to check out since it has some neat information for those that are interested in all realms of the BJJ world. Check it out HERE!
