Although these shorts are meant to be made for women, I don't believe that they are cut for a woman's body.  These shorts may be okay for a smaller frame, but the 9 on me (I wear a 10-12 pants size) is too large around the waist and is short in the inseam.  It looks like I have a scrunchi around my hips because I've pulled the tie so tightly, just to make sure they don't slip down.  I appreciate the effort to make competition shorts specifically for women, but I don't believe actual female athletes were considered in the production.
