Shine Fights returns with Grand Prix format on Friday, September 10 at the Patriot Center and live on Pay-Per-View

8 MMA fighters to compete for one night in single elimination tournament in Fairfax, VA.
 

Two World titles of Shooto and one South American title of Shooto were on the line, last Friday, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at Shooto Brasil 17 and the fights didn't disappoint.
 

Current Tachi Palace Fights lightweight champion, former WEC lightweight champion, and one-time UFC veteran Gabe "Godzilla" Ruediger (wearing the blue OTM jersey in the photo above) is back in the UFC after nearly a 4 year absence. After making his UFC debut at UFC 63 in September 2006, Ruediger was infamously remembered for his stint on The Ultimate Fighter 5 - Team Penn vs. Team Pulver, which aired in the spring of 2007. On that show, he was a teammate of Joe Lauzon who also made his UFC debut at UFC 63 before joining the cast of TUF 5.

Gordo winning the Rio Open is a good way to start this blog I think with the support of the whole team Gordo showcased his solid jiu-jitsu by working his way through hes division like a knife through butter and not changing his facial expression, until he won the finals and held his son in his hands. Everyone was so hyped up to watch Gordo's fights. He's a role model inside and outside the gym and a family guy who lives life only to be happy and pass on knowledge.
