All About Cappi Woodall

Cappi has a 1st Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu under Professor Ricco Gurgel. Cappi has been training since he was 5 years old in Shin Menjin Jiujitsu, He has a 6th dan (Degree) in this Japanese Jiujitsu style. He has also trained in Sambo, Judo, and Aikido. He holds 3rd Dan Black Belts in each of those styles. He has trained in Muay Thai, and Greco-Roman, as well as Free style wrestling.
Cappi has a Pro MMA record of 16-5
Cappi won the World Pankration Championships in a 16 man tournament in April 2000. He defended his title for three years.
Cappi does not nor ever teach straight Bjj because he fills that it limits the fighter. But adds ehst works to his teaching and competitive game. This is why his gym is called American Submission. He teaches a hybrid form of Jiujitsu that has elements of all types of grappling not just a single form.
