James Irvin (born September 12, 1978) is an American professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter. He is a former WEC  heavyweight champion. He won his light-heavyweight debut in spectacular fashion at UFC 54, where he KO'd Terry Martin with a highlight reel flying knee. He is also known for tying the previous UFC record for fastest KO at UFC Fight Night 13, where he KO'd Houston Alexander in 8 seconds. Irvin currently competes in the UFC middleweight division.
