Machado Brothers

Children of Luizita Machado, sister of Layr Gracie (Carlos Gracie Sr's 3rd wife and thus they are cousins to the Gracies.

All of the Machado Brothers started their training with Carlos Gracie Jr. and were all promoted to Black Belt by him.

Together they helped spread BJJ throughout the United States and promoted most of the 'Dirty Dozen', the first 12 non-Brazilian BJJ Black Belts.
