Ricardo Migliarese
From OTMWiki
Ricardo Migliarese began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with his brother Phil Migliarese at the age of thirteen. He began training because he wanted to stay off of the streets and out of trouble. He wanted to focus his energy on something positive, and in 1999 his hard work and training earned him a world championship medal in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Not only is he a successful competitor, but he's a great teacher. His love of jiu-jitsu took him to the Gracie Academy in Torrance, CA to learn the Gracie teaching method from Master Helio Gracie.
He is now in college majoring in Kinesiology and is also studying to become a strength trainer to compliment his technical knowledge of jiu-jitsu. Rick received his Black-Belt from Relson Gracie and his brother Phil and together Rick and Phil run Team Balance in Philadelphia, PA. Rick also runs a web page and does personal training.
