Future Fights UFC 187

Future Fights UFC 187 will tell you who we think the big winners and losers from this weekend should face off with the next time they head into the Octagon.

Future Fights UFC 187

Future Fights UFC 187: Champions

Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones

Cormier and Jones separated themselves from the rest of the pack at 205. It all depends on if and when Jones comes back after all this blows over. This is all a pipe dream but it is hard not to want this fight since the man wearing the belt is not due to beating the champion or having him retired.

Chris Weidman vs. Luke Rockhold

Weidman did what he meant to do even if he had to take a few punches to do it. Now, Rockhold is the next person in line to fight for the belt. With Jacare hurt it is Rockhold who deserves the next title shot and hopefully we do not have to wait for six months to see it.

Future Fights UFC 187: Winners

Andrei Arlovksi vs. Heavyweight Champion

Who cannot like Arlovski with everyone counting him out the last couple years, he is now 9-1 in his last 10 fights and won three straight int he Octagon. Whoever comes out on top after the next title fight should be facing Arlovski.

Donald Cerrone vs. Rafael Dos Anjos

Cerrone was supposed to be in a number one contender fight with Nurmagomedov, but an injury had him lined up with Makdessi instead. With eight straight wins and five finishes, his last loss was to a champion and it is time for a rematch.

Joseph Benavidez vs. John Dodson

Dodson may say he can beat the champion but he did not show it in this fight. He needs a signature win or a win over a big fighter. Dodson and Benavidez are fighting for number two in the division and it is time for them to face off.

Future Fights UFC 187: Losers

Anthony Johnson vs. Glover Teixeira vs. OSP winner

Johnson’s cardio is his big fault. He needs to work on it if he is ever going to be better than the best power puncher. The winner of Teixeira and OSP should be his next fight.

Vitor Belfort vs. Rampage Jackson

Belfort and Jackson are toward the end of their careers. They have fought nearly everyone. They have never faced off with each other but it may be time to make this fight happen.

Travis Browne vs. Mark Hunt

Browne lost again in a big fight due to punches. He needs to prove himself against a value striker. Hunt seems like a good matchup for him.

John Moraga vs. Zach Makovsky

Both lost to he best of the division. This fight will prove who can stay in the hunt for the title and who needs to rebuild.
