UFC 183 Predictions: The Undercard

UFC 183 Predictions: The Undercard will tell you who we think will win on the untelevised portion of this card. A card so big it needs two articles.

UFC 183 Predictions

UFC 183 Predictions has a potential number one contenders fight all the way down on the undercard. Demetrious Johnson will be watching very closely.

UFC 183 Predictions: Fox Sports 1

Diego Brandao vs. Jimmy Hettes

These two were thought to be potential contenders at one point, but injuries and losses have put them back in their career. Both have gone 102 in their last fight while Brandao was knocked out in both. Hettes length will win him this fight by TKO in the second round.

Rafael Natal vs. Tom Watson

Natal and Watson recently rebounded from losses with a win of their own. This is a fight to keep their gatekeeper status. The biggest thing for Natal is his ground game where he can wipe the floor with Watson. This will bring him his first submission win in two years in the first round.

Ian McCall vs. John Lineker

A potential title shot is on the line when these two face off. Since the debut in his loss, Lineker has gone 5-1 with his only loss coming to someone who was caught for steroids. McCall is 2-2 with his only wins being slightly uninspiring. While McCall has never been knocked out, Lineker has enough power to hurt him and take the fight by decision.

Ed Herman vs. Derek Brunson

Herman is a crafty veteran who is mad after missing their last fight when Brunson was sick the day of the fight. As much as I want Herman to win, Brunson is too well known for laying on people to get a win. That is the bane of Herman’s fighting career which will unfortunately rack up another decision loss.

Miesha Tate vs. Sara McMann

Since her TKO loss to Rousey, McMann has reverted to a simple wrestler and holding fighters down while throwing multiple punches. McMann will be able to do what she wants on the ground with Tate, but she has to watch out on the feet. Look for her to control her way to an unanimous decision although Tate may steal one round.
