Shawn Jordan vs. Jared Cannonier

Jordan was supposed to be the next big thing in the Heavyweight division after knocking out Mike Russow and Pat Barry, but a pair of knockout losses to Matt Mitrione and Gabe Gonzaga sent him back down to the bottom of the division. He redeemed himself with a knockout of Jack May but will have to try and repeat that against newcomer Jared Cannonier who has won seven straight fights and knocked out six of them.

UFC 183 UFC Announced Matchups

Thiago Alves vs. Jordan Mien

This match was supposed to happen earlier this year but the oft injured Alves dropped out of the bout. Mien went on to knockout the veteran Welterweight fighter mike Pyle. Alves just returned from an over two year injury to take a win over Seth Baczynski. Whoever wins this fight will most likely crack the top 15 at 170.

Andy Enz vs. Thiago Santos

Whoever losses this fight will be out of the UFC. Enz has lost his first two bouts while Santos is only 1-2. With one last shot at glory this should be a good matchup with both looking to prove themselves.
