The next big Fox card takes place  this weekend with Ryan Bader and Anthony Johnson duking it out for the next shot at the Light-Heavyweight title. With this card just a few days away, the UFC has been hard at work on the next card that will air on big Fox. There is no main event yet, but there is some big fights already rumored for the card.

It was announced this weekend that surging Lightweight contender Tony Ferguson, who is riding a seven fight win streak, would be taken on former opponent Michael Johnson, who has lost two straight. The bout was justified due to Johnson having beaten Ferguson before. Now, it looks like Johnson is out of the fight due to needing surgery from an injury. Ferguson is still lined up for the card against Khabib nurmagomedov who has a similar win streak and a win over the current lightweight champion. It is likely the winner of this bout will get the next title shot.

The car also has another big Lightweight fight between two fighters who are looking to climb the rankings. Beneil Dariush and Michael Chiesa are riding high after some big wins in their last fights. Dariush took out the aforementioned Michael Johnson by decision and Chiesa was able to stop lightweight stalwart Jim Miller. Now, both fighters have a chance to break into he top five with a breakout performance. Both of them have an excellent ground game and an ever evolving standup game. Who will win? Well it is only a matter of time until we find out.

Lastly, Rashad Evans and Shogun Rua will battle in a fight to stay relevant. The two former champions have fallen on fought times and have had less time in the cage due to injuries. It is still an interesting fight even if it comes well after both were in their prime. While neither of them will ever be in title contention again, it is still good to see them in the cage putting a good fight for the fans. Does anyone want to take bets on who they think will retire after this fight?
