    I like martial art that learn about chi or inner power. Phisical power have a limit, when people grow old, this kind of strength will go down.

    this is a BJJ forum

     Well most of us here train Jiu Jitsu and Grappling so i suggest starting there.  I think it is best for self defense because you can be any size and deal with a larger attacker or opponent.
    I also think that thai boxing is good too. 
    I suggest you try a few classes at different places and then see what you like all Martial Arts are good! Even TKD LOL!
