Rafael Assuncao vs. Winner of Michael MacDonald vs. Urijah Faber

If Dominick Cruz is finally healthy and ready to unify the title at bantamweight that will leave a fight to find the next contender for the winner of the title. While MacDonald and Faber have the name value, Assuncao has five straight wins which is something few people at 135 can say they have done in the UFC. Let Assuncao fight the winner of Faber and MacDonald to get the signature win that will propel him to a title shot.

    Rafael Assuncao vs. TJ Dillashaw

Assuncao is a good fighter, but his best shot at winning this fight comes on the ground. Unfortunately, Dillashaw is a former NCAA 1 fighter who trains at the famed Team Alpha Male camp, and right now it seems that camp is untouchable. This will continue in this fight as Dillashaw earns a TKO in second round after picking Assuncao apart in the first.

    Bellator 101 Debuts Lightweight Tournament

    Thu, 2013-09-26 20:32 — Benjamin Bieker

Bellator kicks off its 101st MMA event tomorrow, and it is lined with a lot of great lightweight prospects and veterans. Also, in the main event another bantamweight tournament semifinal takes place when Joe Warren and Nick Kirk. It seems like a weird thing considering that Warren was knocked out in practice no more than a month ago. Plus with two knockout losses in his last four fights it may seem that Warren's chin is gone, but even though this is the main event it is not the most intriguing fight on the card.

Gracie Breakdown: Brendan Schaub's UFC 165 D'arce Submission

    Mon, 2013-09-23 10:03 — Benjamin Bieker

Sorry, you need to install flash to see this content.

Many people believed that Brendan Schaub was in for another knockout loss coming into UFC 165, but unfortunately a complete MMA game is different than just decent striking. Despite having an awful performance at Metamoris 2, Schaub was finally able to display the grappling skills many said he had but had never shown. All it took was one round for Schaub to win, because once the fight hit the ground he was able to lock up his D'arce choke. Despite Mitrione giving the thumbs up, he eventually fell asleep in the submission.
